John Stanger-leathes : Partner
Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants, trained in a professional accountant's office, spent 5 years as Financial then Managing Director of 100 employee Sheet Metal Fabrication Company, and 5 years as Finance Director of diverse Contracting and Retailing Group before commencing Essell. Also a Director of Accensus Limited - specialists in Company sales and acquisitions and of Collingwood Insurance Co Ltd - motor insurance underwriting based in Gibraltar.
Martin Rosemond : Partner
Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants, trained at Newcastle Polytechnic, gained experience as an Accountant in several diverse North East companies including Manufacturing, Retail and Service Industries, joined Essell in 1985, Partner in 1987.
Alex Robinson : Partner
Joined Essell in 1999, having obtained a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Financial Analysis from Newcastle University. Partner in 2004.
Mike Hardingham : Tax Manager
Joined Essell in 1993, after computer and administration training, following a 25 year career in the Army, latterly as a Warrant Officer. Responsible for processing Income Tax Returns on Sage taxation systems, and for data processing client's accounting information.
Sally Blacklock : Accounts Clerk, Otterburn Office
Joined Essell in 1992, following career with software house. Responsible for preparation of Accounts, and data processing client's accounting information.
Paul Katz : Accounts Clerk
Joined Essell in 2008, currently training towards ACCA.
Pauline Sheldon : Payroll
Responsible for Payroll processing, experienced in preparation of Accounts and use of Sage accounting software.
Angie Stanger-leathes : Secretary And Administrator
Married to John Stanger-Leathes and joined Essell in 1995, after fourteen years as a self-employed retailer and previously as a Secretary at Newcastle University. Experienced in payroll and Companies House matters. Also a Director of Accensus Limited, specialists in Company sales and acquisitions.
Mandy Gorman : Secretary
Joined Essell in 2009 following a career in a legal practice and at a bank.
